Applicants eligible for membership in SEQUINS are scientists, educators, clinicians, trainees, medical affairs professionals, policy-makers, or members of the public with an interest in equity neuroscience research, education, mentoring, or application.

Applicants for REGULAR membership should have at least 3 peer review journal publications of any authorship position on the topic of equity neuroscience.

Applications for Regular membership should be sent via email to info@s-equi-ns.org, along with a CV. An accompanying cover letter is optional. Payment of initial dues will be required after approval for membership.
Frequently Asked Questions
How/when will I know when my application has been approved?
Applications are reviewed and approved by the Membership Committee and may take up to seven business days. You will be notified via email once your membership is active or if additional information is needed.
I received the membership renewal emails, but accidentally let my membership expire. Do I need to re-apply or renew?
If your membership expired over 1 year ago, you would need to please apply for membership rather than renewing.
I applied for membership in the middle of the year. When will it expire?
All memberships are effective from January 1 to December 31 of any given year. Annual membership fees are required and NON-REFUNDABLE.
Will there be any documents I need to submit when applying?
CV is required unless you are renewing.
Which category of membership do I apply for?
SEQUINS has several membership categories: Fellow, Regular, Junior (Postdoctoral and Student), Affiliate, Emeritus, and Honorary.

Honorary Membership
An honorary member shall be an individual, elected to honorary membership by the board of directors, who has made outstanding non-scientific contributions towards advancing the field of Equity Neuroscience.
It is the responsibility of the Board from time to time to recommend to the Association suitable candidates for Honorary Membership.
Such candidates shall become Honorary Members by a majority vote of the Membership at its Annual Meeting.
